Feel the Pride: A Wellness Event

  • The Castro Room 97 Collingwood Street San Francisco, CA, 94114 United States (map)

Mindfulness, Community, & Connection: A Pride Wellness Event Join us for a day of celebration at our Pride Wellness Event, where we honor every step of our journeys with love, acceptance, and courage.

Cacao and Meditation: We'll commence this empowering day by setting an intention with nourishing cacao, followed by a calming meditation session led by mindfulness and meditation instructor Alex Castro. This opening ritual will prepare us to welcome the day with open hearts and minds.

Grief Circle: This event is not just about celebrating who we are and what we stand for; it's also about acknowledging and honoring the grief that comes with letting go of parts of ourselves. It's about mourning the loss of the person we were conditioned to be as we step bravely into our authentic Queer selves. This transition, while liberating, can carry a weight of loss and grief, and it's crucial to acknowledge and process these feelings. To guide us through this emotional landscape, grief specialist Stephanie Papadakis will lead a grief circle, creating a safe and supportive space for sharing and healing. This circle is an invitation to release the sorrows of our pasts and make room for the joy and authenticity of our present and future selves.

Breathwork: Culminating our day of emotional exploration and celebration will be a rejuvenating breath work class with Clarity Breathwork practitioner, Reiki Master, and sound healer, Peter Brandt. Through the power of breath, we'll learn to let go of what no longer serves us, paving the way for new beginnings and deeper connections with our true selves.

Social Hour with Mocktails: And what’s a celebration without a chance to connect and share? Following our sessions, we'll unwind during a social hour featuring delicious mocktails, providing a perfect opportunity to meet new friends and bask in the collective energy of our community. Our Pride Wellness Event promises to be a day of joy, tears, healing, and laughter. Come as you are, ready to celebrate every part of your journey and the beautiful diversity of our community. Together, we'll create a space where every emotion is welcomed, and every story is honored.
